SAT 1
Self-awareness & Vitality
This module imparts Claudio Naranjo’s pioneering approach to the Psychology of the Enneatypes. Participants will be able to identify the core motivations that influence their lives, as well as to learn about the deeper layers of their personality structure which was formed early on in life.
The work is safely guided to unfold in an atmosphere of mutual support. Together, participants recognise and challenge conditioned personality, discovering broader possibilities of Being through the synergy of practices that cultivate presence, embodiment, listening skills and authentic communication.
Participants are introduced to Buddhist Vipassana meditation in the Theravada tradition, as well as Claudio Naranjo’s interpersonal meditation. Self-knowledge through the clarifying lens of the Enneagram is further catalysed by therapeutic theatre and the practice of spontaneous movement, allowing a new awareness to emerge.
In this module you will explore:
The Enneagram of Personality
The nine Enneatypes are presented within their original context — that of genuine experiential knowledge — and explored in their cognitive, emotional and physical expressions, enabling participants to recognise, step by step, their own character structure.
Therapeutic Theatre
An original and fascinating form of psychodrama, related to the work on personality with the Enneagram.
Spontaneous Movement
A mind–body discipline derived from dance, Authentic Movement and active presence, which fosters attention, trust, and letting go.
Guided Meditations
In this module, the meditations draw on the teachings and practice of Vipassana, approached from an interpersonal perspective.
Group Work
Through rich, dynamic work in both large and small groups, participants practise together and support one another.
