The Objectives of the SAT Programme
« If we consider that a healthy society can hardly exist without the foundation of healthy individuals, it becomes imperative to recognise the political value of individual transformation.»
Claudio Naranjo
Empowering your spirit through
Self-knowledge and existential competencies
The SAT Programme invites us to journey into a deep exploration of ourselves and to cultivate a harmonious evolution of our Being and of our relationships. What it is all about:
Acquiring an understanding and an overview of the ways in which we interfere with— and limit—our individual and collective human potential.
Developing our attention and sharpening our awareness, awakening our spontaneity and dissolving personal blockages.
Experiencing how psychological, artistic, and spiritual practices can be powerfully combined to support our journeys toward mental health and human growth.
Initiating changes in our thoughts, feelings, and behaviours so that our lives more fully reflect the “truth” about who we are
Exploring our childhood conditioning, healing the emotional bond with our parents, and developing mature relationships
To strengthen resilience and inner grounding
Foundations
Integrating the teachings of earlier masters such as Georges I. Gurdjieff, Claudio Naranjo considers that the harmonious development of the human being is based on six fundamental elements:
Each of the six elements is a path to growth in itself. In the SAT programme, they are naturally interwoven and are at the core of the curriculum. They form the pillars on which the methods and techniques applied in each module are built.

Claudio Naranjo talks about the SAT Programme:
The Enneagram of Personality.
A typology that makes sense
The Enneagram of personality is an accurate map of nine basic character structures, rooted in ancient traditions and further developed by Claudio Naranjo. Its name comes from the Greek ennea gramma — a figure with nine points. In an original and dynamic way, the Enneagram describes nine types that represent variations of human personality. Each character is therefore a branch of the human family, a specific way of being, with its flaws, qualities, worldview, strengths, and weaknesses.
The nine points are connected by lines symbolising the relationships each character maintains with the others (proximity, opposition, complementarity, etc.).
As one of the most powerful and strikingly accurate tools for self-knowledge, the Enneagram of Personality — including the Psychology of the Enneatypes and their Subtypes — runs through the SAT modules and is taught throughout the entire SAT Programme.
It acts both as a catalyst for experiences and as a meaningful approach to integrating life experiences. The Enneagram of Personality teaches us, with great subtlety, the similarities and differences between us all, and helps us build, improve, and maintain loving, conscious, and fulfilling relationships.
Throughout the SAT Programme, the Enneagram of Personality:
- Is taught progressively and experientially.
- Is presented in its original context and offers knowledge and practical skills that go far beyond what can be found in books on the Enneagram.
- Brings a deep understanding of oneself and others, especially regarding the motivations that drive our behaviours.
- Supports our transformation and the development of our potential.
