What is SAT?
An integrative programme for growth through the exploration of personality
This retreat programme offers an experiential psycho-spiritual journey, approaching human development through therapeutic, contemplative and somatic arts perspectives. It allows for a comprehensive exploration of the restrictive mechanisms of our personality and encourages holistic healing processes, the harmonisation of our capacities for love and the emergence of a new consciousness open to our creative potential.
The Enneagram of Personality is a transversal theme of the SAT programme, as are meditation and body work. It is taught in its original form, using dynamic and precise approaches as means of achieving a deep understanding of ourselves and others.
Who was Claudio Naranjo?
A remarkable man
A psychiatrist and internationally recognised author, Dr Claudio Naranjo is regarded as one of the pioneers of integrating diverse strands of Western psychology with Eastern traditions. He is a key figure in humanistic psychotherapy and, from the 1970s onwards, became a leading voice in the Enneagram as a tool for transformation. He contributed to this field—using contemporary language—through the development of the Psychology of the Enneatypes.
His teaching, embodied in the SAT programme, takes shape in a powerful and effective methodology that offers a pathway towards individual and collective, or social, transformation.
« I regard the SAT Programme as being a university of love and of global consciousness. »

How does the SAT Programme unfold?
A comprehensive path of learning and insight
Continuously developed by Claudio Naranjo, the SAT currently consists of four to five modules, each lasting between five to nine days. All modules are held in residential retreat centres in natural surroundings, offering the ideal setting for turning inward.
The programme integrates intellectual, emotional, physical, and spiritual dimensions, encompassing self-knowledge through Claudio Naranjo’s Psychology of the Eneatypes. The foundation of every module is meditation—from mindfulness to the search for direct contact with consciousness itself. Alongside these core elements, each module explores specific practices that enhance self-awareness and foster the awakening of authenticity and one’s true nature.
Although designed to be taken consecutively, each module is complete in itself, allowing for the integration of its different components. This allows participants to organise and follow their own path with great flexibility, while benefiting from a shared path with their peers.
A international programme
The programme is international, both in terms of participants and teaching staff. Our courses are run by experienced therapists (à link to teams) trained by Claudio Naranjo at the international SAT school.
Our translators enable us to integrate the different languages, allowing everyone to benefit from the richness of intercultural work
Is the SAT for me?
A journey into your true potential
A comprehensive teaching for personal transformation and professional development, the SAT is intended for anyone seeking self-realisation, exploring all dimensions of Being in order to cultivate the human and existential values that the world of today—and tomorrow—so deeply needs.
The SAT programme is open to all those wishing to go beyond traditional psychotherapy, as well as to professionals working in various fields of human development and the psychosocial field.
