A retreat centre dedicated to personal and professional development

A personal and professional training institute, ZIST is also home to the headquarters of the ZIST Academy of Psychotherapy. Founded by Wolf Büntig, one of the pioneers of humanistic psychology in Germany, the institute has remained true to its original mission: to make personal development accessible to all.

Situated at the foot of the Alps in Bavaria, near Munich, the institute now hosts courses aligned with its mission, set within abundant and peaceful natural surroundings where participants can enjoy the nearby meadows, forests, lakes and ponds. With all the space needed for the workshops to run smoothly, participants in the SAT Programme find here an environment conducive to reflection and concentration.

To ensure everyone can follow the programme in the best possible conditions, the accommodation centre offers a choice of single rooms with ensuite bathrooms, as well as double and triple rooms and dormitories, all simply and comfortably furnished.

The meeting and meditation rooms are equipped with all the necessary facilities, and a shop selling books and writing materials completes the centre’s facilities.

The centre offers vegetarian cuisine prepared with fresh, seasonal produce, most of which is organic.
